Ordering Information

Payment Methods


We process all payments through paypal, a completely secure service which allows you to pay directly from your bank account, paypal account, or any major credit card.

Sales Tax
All orders shipped or billed to a Vermont address will have 6% state sales tax added to their totals.

Order Processing & Fulfillment
All orders are processed in the order they are received.

We strive to ship within 3 to 5 business days. However, please keep in mind that this a small, mother-owned business and there are times when orders will be shipped later. We appreciate your understanding!

Custom Dyeing
At this time, we are not offering custom dyeing. However, we do keep a running list of what people would like to have and this helps us to decide what to dye for the next update.

Knots
Knots are a normal part of the milling process and will be present in some of the skeins we sell.

Photo Accuracy
Our yarns are dyed in
batches of 12-16 skeins. Please keep in mind that due to the hand-dyeing process, variations within a batch are normal. While we do our best to represent the range of variation in each batch, your particular skein may not look exactly like the photograph.

To ensure the greatest possible color accuracy, we use professional daylight-balanced studio lighting and digital photography. Our images are never edited for color. With this system, colors are true on our monitor. However, because we are unable to account for different settings on individual monitors, what you see may not be what you get. If you are ever unhappy with the colors in your yarn, please contact us for an exchange or refund. We want you to be a satisfied customer!

Allergen information
All of our items come from a kid and pet-friendly, non-smoking home studio. The animals are not allowed in the work area, but please be aware if you or someone in your family has particularly severe cat or dog allergies.

Additionally, we include sachets containing lavender essential oil with all orders to deter moths. Please let us know if you do not want the lavender sachet included.


Shipping & Returns

Domestic Shipping
All domestic orders are sent via USPS. You will have the option to choose First Class (for packages 13oz and under), Priority or Express shipping at checkout.

International Shipping
We ship internationally via USPS. If you cannot find your country in the drop-down menu at checkout, please contact us. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer Delivery Confirmation or insurance to international orders, and cannot be responsible for packages once they enter the USPS system. Please note that our customs declarations will be marked appropriately with full retail value and that you are responsible for any additional delivery fees that may be assessed. Requests for low or altered customs forms will be disregarded.

Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are automatically calculated by the USPS based on the total weight of your package.

Combining Shipping for Multiple Orders (US Customers Only)
During busy shop updates, it is common for customers to place multiple orders within a small amount of time. If you would like to combine your orders to be shipped together, you may choose the "Combined Shipping" option in the shopping cart ONLY if you have already made at least one purchase with regular shipping rates applied. The charge for combining orders is $.50 per additional order, plus $.50/skein. If this option is not selected for additional orders, all orders will be processed individually and no shipping fees will be refunded.

If you are an international customer and have made multiple purchases during the same day, your overpaid shipping will be refunded when your package is shipped. If you DO NOT want your packages combined, you must note it in the comments at checkout.

PLEASE NOTE: The combined shipping option will only be available during announced updates. Orders placed at other times will not receive combined shipping.

Returns & Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will provide a refund or store credit for items returned in their original condition within 30 days of purchase, provided that they are accompanied with the original receipt.

Refused & Unclaimed Packages
If you are unavailable at the time the mail carrier attempts delivery, you are responsible for rescheduling the delivery.

If you do not claim your package or refuse it and the package is returned to us, you are responsible for reshipping charges.

If a refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable package is no longer wanted, a 20% restocking fee will apply and store credit in the amount of the balance less shipping charges and fees will be issued.

If you have purchased an item as a gift, and it is not accepted at the gift address and returned to us, we will ship the item, with an explanation, to your address free of charge.
